This fall, the GTHL is teaming up with iconic Toronto-based sock brand Babsocks and The Movember Foundation to bring awareness to mental health in youth sport. Babsocks has created a limited Movember edition of their infamous socks, and are offering an amazing grand prize:
A practice run by Mike Babcock himself, along with the Toronto Maple Leafs coaching staff!
Each GTHL team is challenged with selling as many pairs of limited edition Movember Babsocks as you can between October 16th to November 30th (@11:59pm EST). For every pair sold, $5 will be donated to The Movember Foundation to support mental health programming in youth sport. Your team will have a unique code that can be entered at the checkout page on Babsocks.ca/GTHL. Each time a pair is purchased using your team code, it will be counted towards your team total. At the end of the 6 weeks, the team with the most pairs of socks sold will win the incredible grand prize!
2ND and 3RD placed teams will each receive a team training session with stick handling specialist & social media star, Pavel Barber. Be sure to keep an eye on the @Babsocks Instagram account where contests and giveaways will be running all month long.
HERE’S HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:
Step 1 – Find Your Code
- Head over to Babsocks.ca/GTHL to find your team’s unique team code. Just use CTRL+F to and type in your team name to find it!
Step 2 – Share your Code
- Friends, family, and everyone in between will look great in a pair of Movember Babsocks! Plus, they’ll feel just as good as they look knowing that a portion of their socks is going towards a great cause! Don’t forget to give them your team-specific code to ensure that their socks contribute to your team total.
Step 3 – Rock the Socks
- Show off your Movember Babsocks with pride! Share a picture of how you rock your socks on Instagram and tag @babsocks with the hashtag #AheadOfTheGame for your chance to be featured on the Babsocks website and Instagram. Be sure to check in regularly for contests and giveaways!
