PlayStation Platinum Cup

Details GTHL-Leafs Lock Up
The PlayStation Platinum Cup Powered by the Toronto Maple Leafs and GTHL will play host to 24 total teams across three (3) ATOM Divisions: Atom A, Atom AA, and Atom AAA.  Divisions will be comprised of eight teams in each making up the 24-team tournament. Teams will be guaranteed four games.

Registration fee for this tournament will be $1250.

When and Where
Nov. 23-25, 2018 at the Toronto Maple Leafs Practice facility, MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence (400 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M8V 3L1;)

The host hotel for the 2018 PlayStation Platinum Cup Powered by the Toronto Maple Leafs and GTHL will be the Toronto Airport Marriott.  All teams requiring overnight accommodations MUST stay at this hotel for the duration of the tournament.

This tournament is open to any OHF or USA team at the Atom A, AA or AAA levels.  The tournament is open to 2008 born players (Atom teams) and 2009 born players as per your league rules on eligibility requirements to be rostered on a 2008 born team.

All teams will be required to submit their official Hockey Canada or USA Hockey Roster and will be subject to approval by the tournament host committee.

Application Form and Entry Fee

Any team wishing to apply for entry into the Platinum Cup Powered by the Toronto Maple Leafs and GTHL must complete an online application and pay the registration fee $1,250.

Applications: Atom A | Atom AA | Atom AAA

If unsuccessful in being named a team to participate in the tournament, a full refund will be provided.

The formula for part b) of the tiebreaker in the standings is: GF / (GF + GA)
For instance, if Team A has 12 GF and 5 GA and Team B has 13 GF and 4 GA then Team B would win the tiebreaker:
Team A: 12 / (12 + 5) = 12 / 17 = .706
Team B: 13 / (13 + 4) = 13 / 17 = .765
