The Greater Toronto Hockey League is pleased to announce the set rosters for the Midget All-Star event, which takes place on January 26th at Herbert Carnegie Centennial Centre.     2008 Midget All Star Festival
    One hundred and twenty of Toronto's best Midget players treated fans to an entertaining triple-header of hockey action, at the GTHL midget all-star festival, Jan. 26 at the Herb Carnegie Centennial Centre. The format consists of Midget A, AA and AAA players hand-picked from around the GTHL.

    History of Event
     2008 will be the league's 6th all-inclusive, compettive Midget All-Star Day. All three categories of Midget Hockey (AAA,AA and A) are being provided with an all-star format recognizing and displaying the players' talents at each of the respective levels on the same day.

    Selection Process
     Directors of player development uses November and December to observe and evaluate the players on their physical play, offence, defence skills, positioning and skating. Their evaluation process will include a 28 member panel grading the players. During this process independent evaluators working under the stewardship of Herb Ebisuzaki, Techinical Director of Coaching Programs for the GTHL. Hundred of hours were required to these dedicated individuals in viewing the countless games involving all of the member organizations' Midget teams and players
