GTHL Challenge Cup

Details
The 2017 GTHL Challenge Cup hosts the most talented peewee players from Canada and the USA. The peewee tournament is open to players born in 2005 only (06 players as affiliate players or any 2006 born player which is appropriately registered to an 05 roster based on their league regulations).

This season, the tournament will welcome the Peewee A and Peewee AA Divisions to CHALLENGE for the Cup.

Since 1978, graduates from this tournament include Steven Stamkos, Jason Spezza, Patrick Kane, Rick Nash, Mike Cammalleri, Eric Lindros, Brendan Shanahan, Adam Graves, and the list goes on. The talent is so great, even famed CBC personality Don Cherry frequents the tournament to take in the exciting action.

When and Where
Dec. 27-30, 2017 at Scotiabank Pond in Toronto.

Accommodations
The 2017 tournament will feature 3 preferred hotels.  All teams requiring overnight accommodations MUST stay at one of these three hotels for the duration of your required stay.

Eligibility
The peewee tournament is open to players born in 2005 only (or any 2006 born player which is appropriately registered to an 05 roster based on their league regulations).

Application Form and Entry Fee
Click here to complete an online application form for the 2017 GTHL Challenge Cup.  Registration for this year’s tournament will be $1700.

There are no gate fees at the GTHL Challenge Cup.

Format
Quality is better then quantity as a total of 16 teams at each of Peewee AAA, Peewee AA and Peewee A will participate in the 2017 tournament.  The tournament consists of a round-robin format with each team guaranteed four games. All games will be run under stop time. Game length for all games will be 12-12-15.
