Respect In Sport (Speak-Out Equivalent)

The GTHL is pleased to announce its alignment with Hockey Canada, the Ontario Hockey Federation and Respect Group Inc. to provide the Respect in Sport online educational tool. The Respect in Sport online program is recognized as an equivalent to the Speak-Out / Prevention Services clinic. The Cost of the online course is $30.00

Respect Group Inc. has created the Respect in Sport Coach and Activity Leader e-learning online program that will focus on the topics of bullying, harassment and abuse, neglect, and include information about emotional and physical development, discrimination, hazing, and the inherent power individuals may have over one another by virtue of their position within an organization, group, team or school.

This 3 hour online program is divided into 6 - 30 minute modules that include audio/visual presentations, quizzes and printable handouts. One of the great benefits of the program is that it does not need to be completed in one sitting, and can be completed in intervals at your leisure. Please note that you will not be certified until you have completed the entire program.
