Tournament ScheduleAll age groups and divions are now available to be viewed online using Game Centre. You will notice that game locations and times for the first week may be shown as TBD or AM game times. These times and locations will be updated closer to the date. Please make sure to check Game Centre often as game times and TBD venues are updated daily.
To view the schedule, (once posted) ,please make sure your display schedule drop down menu in Games Centre says Founder's Cup.
Your team will not be shown in the standings until your first game has been scheduled.
In Game Centre under the drop down menu Founders Cup Playoffs, all playoff formats for each division are shown.
Tournament Information
The Founders Cup is open to teams eliminated in the 1st round of play-offs in ‘A’, ‘AA’ and ‘AAA’ from the GTHL, SHA and MHL. All other teams must be cleared through their hockey governing body. All players on these teams must have been registered on a 2009 -2010 official registration form.
- Tournament begins as early as 21st.
- Entry fee is $575.00, no game sheet fee's required. If your team does end up making the second round of the play-offs your entry fee will be returned.
- Tournament format is determined by the number of teams entered in that division.

Features of the Founders Cup
1. Extend your hockey season by 5 to 6 weeks in a competitive environment.
2. Gate admissions will be equivalent to the regular season play but there will be no game sheet fees !
3. A championship weekend where trophies will be handed out.
4. Most games will be scheduled on the weekends. This will permit teams from the East and West to compete without the concern of excessive travel during the week.
