Toronto, ON—Join the Ultimate Leafs Fan Mike Wilson at his home in Toronto and bear witness to more than 2,000 pieces of Toronto Maple Leafs history. Listen to Wilson tell unheard stories about the beloved sports franchise, enjoy drinks and food and mingle with special guests, such as Michael Wekerle from the CBC’s Dragon’s Den and ex-NHL stars like Dan Daoust, Tom Fergus, Rick Vaive and more!

Mike Wilson is a collector by profession, but a storyteller at heart. As his website says, Wilson is fascinated by the moments in history each piece represents: “what was Toronto like at the time, how people lived, the music of the day, what daily items cost; these things all factor into his thoughts when the Ultimate Leafs Fan sees a new item.” This awe-inspiring historical collection will be closed to the public come July 2017, so June 27th from 7:00 pm will be one of the last chances to experience all the pieces in one place. About the Chase McEachern Memorial Fund

The CMMF is dedicated to reducing deaths due to cardiac arrest. Our goal is to save lives through high quality cardiac arrest education, training volunteers in the use of AEDs and providing AEDs to organizations in need. By hosting events such as the ‘Night with the Ultimate Leafs Fan!’, the CMMF gains the ability to provide organizations with life-saving AEDs at no cost at all. This increases the amount of AEDs that are easily accessible to the public, which means less people collapsing without an AED nearby to help them.

After years of struggling with heart problems, Chase McEachern began his campaign to make AEDs mandatory in hockey arenas and schools everywhere. He wrote a letter to hockey commentator Don Cherry, asking for support of his cause. Chase, a young boy full of a passion for life and sport, collapsed at school in Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) on February 6th, 2006 at the age of 12. Sadly, before Chase could hear his words read by Don Cherry on national television, he succumbed to his injuries and died on February 15th, 2006.
